Cassandra is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor which permits her to practice in the state of Georgia. With 20 years of experience working within non-profit sectors of behavioral health systems in both Georgia and Ohio, Cassandra’s area of expertise includes adult and child/adolescent therapy, crisis response and prevention, anger management, domestic violence, forensics, family systems, intensive family interventions, mental health disorders, personality disorders, sexual offending, sexual trauma, and substance-related disorders.
Cassandra is an alumnus of Xavier University (Cincinnati, Ohio) with a Masters in Community Counseling and the University of Cincinnati’s Bachelor of Science programs in Criminal Justice and Addiction Studies.
Cassandra also has a strong administration record of over 10 years leading accreditation processes, operational processes, and strategic planning. Her leadership and team approach resulted in the development of high quality, cost effective, and integrated services among community agencies and medical insurance services over her professional career.
Cassandra strives to support her discipline by providing coaching in professional development and educational trainings in various topics of criminal justice, behavioral health, management, supervisory issues, and medical insurance related topics for close to two decades.
In addition to her giving spirit in supporting the growth and development of individuals, she had volunteered as a wildlife rehabilitator while living in Ohio. Her work with injured and orphaned wildlife speaks to her heart as she has a passion for life and all things nature. As Cassandra is an advocate for self-care, she enjoys most things related to expression and cultural art: painting, music, theater, culinary art, photography, travel, and recently canning!
